This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Chess Anatomy paid subscriptions, operated by Edgeway Software. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Chess Anatomy offers a free tier with no payment required. You can use it indefinitely within its limits, so you can try the product before paying for anything.
Paid plans (Plus, Pro, and Unlimited) are subscriptions billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Each subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
We also offer the Super Clone upgrade as a one-time $9.99 charge rather than a subscription. It grants a single Super Clone training credit to your account, does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. The credit does not expire, and if a Super Clone training run fails the credit is automatically returned to your account so you can train again at no extra cost.
You can cancel at any time, in either of two ways:
When you cancel, your subscription is set to end at the close of the current billing period. You keep all paid benefits until that date, and you will not be charged again. After that date your account automatically reverts to the free tier. You can re-subscribe at any time.
Because cancelling stops all future charges and you retain access through the period you've paid for, we generally do not provide refunds or prorated credits for the current or past billing periods. Cancelling does not refund the current month; it stops the next renewal.
We will, however, consider refunds at our discretion in circumstances such as:
For the one-time Super Clone purchase, a credit that has already been spent on a training run cannot be refunded, since the training has been performed. If your credit is still unused, contact us using section 6 below and we will consider a refund on the same discretionary basis as above.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or region. Where such laws grant you a right to a refund or withdrawal, that right applies regardless of the general rule above.
Email support@edgewaysoft.com from the email address on your account, including the date and approximate amount of the charge and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within a few business days.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
